On the quirkier side, Reclaimed World could be a great spot for your date in Cheshire. If you’re a fan of preloved, vintage, and unique, this is a treasure trove for shoppers. This unique, family run antiques, salvage, and reclamation emporium offers a vast range of beautiful furniture and vintage items for your home and beyond. Make sure to take a stroll back in time along the Victorian cobbled street with traditional shop fronts, and shopping arcade.

Blakemere Village

Nestled in the heart of leafy West Cheshire, there’s a lot to get into on a date at Blakemere Village. Home to Cheshire Segway, award-winning Birds of Prey experiences, two craft workshops plus unique independent shops and food and drink outlets including the chic Blakemere Social, Blakemere Village is a perfect option for a quirky date in Cheshire. Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker

Why not take your date back to the Cold War? For over 60 years this vast underground complex remained secret. The 35,000 sq ft underground Hack Green Bunker would have been the centre of regional government had nuclear war broken out. Entering through the massive blast doors, you are transported into the chilling world of the Cold War. This is definitely a quirky date in Cheshire! (Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)

Warrington Museum & Art Gallery

Sitting in Warrington’s ‘cultural quarter’ Warrington Museum & Art Gallery is a great option for a date. The museum and gallery is home to a rich and diverse collection ranging all the way from Egyptology and geology to modern and classical art. Supporting local and regional artist, there are regular exhibitions showcasing some of the newest and best work out there.

After a visit to the museum why not head over to the award winning Warrington Market for a bite to eat. There is something for everyone to enjoy, with food available to takeaway, or you can dine in, as well as enjoying fun-filled evenings of belly laughs and fantastic music. (Closed Mondays and Tuesdays)

Walton Hall & Gardens

There’s always a lot to do at Walton Hall & Gardens. Once the home of Lord and Lady Daresbury the hall and gardens are now the perfect place for a unique date. Whether you want a romantic stroll around the parkland and gardens, climb high ropes, or see some adorable animals, you can do it all here. We recommend the much-loved Alpaca walks with the zoo’s resident Alpacas – ideal for a twist on a conventional date.
