Halloweenville is celebrating a spooktacular success with thousands of tickets already snapped up for this year’s fantastic family-friendly adventure - The Rise of the Ancient Skeleton King.
The thrilling experience runs at Partridge Lakes in Culcheth, Warrington, until Sunday 1 November.
Places are now strictly limited although there is still ticket availability on dates from Tuesday 20 October to Thursday 22 October along with 1 November.
In addition, there are also spaces available at the dedicated SEN Session on Monday 19 October which will retain all the magic and atmosphere of Halloweenville while offering a quieter, calmer and less stimulating experience.
Meanwhile the addition for 2026 of new Dusk Sessions has proved particularly popular with young families who want to introduce little ones to Halloweenville in a gentle way, with all time slots now sold out.
Halloweenville is an enchanted land where you can fully immerse yourself in all things weird, wonderful and witchy. Set against a stunning lakeside backdrop, guests journey along an enchanting Halloween storybook trail, meeting a colourful cast of live characters who bring every chapter to life through magical encounters, interactive performances and immersive storytelling.
This year’s new story, The Rise of the Ancient Skeleton King, sees an ancient ruler awaken from centuries of slumber to seize control of Halloweenville. Now, brave adventurers of all ages are being called upon to embark on an unforgettable quest to defeat the Skeleton King and restore peace to the magical town.
Throughout the adventure, visitors can explore a variety of themed worlds: encounter the mischievous Skeleton Pirates and discover their hidden secrets, train alongside the brave Skeleton Knights inside Halloweenville Castle and learn the art of sword fighting, visit the witches’ hollow to brew magic potions, and step inside Halloweenville Town Library where aspiring wizards can learn spells and discover ancient magic.
Join the quest. Defeat the Ancient Skeleton King. Save Halloweenville.
Created especially for families and young children, Halloweenville offers spooky fun without the scares, making it the perfect autumn day or evening out for visitors of all ages.
Every scene has been carefully designed to spark imagination and create lasting family memories, with attention to detail, atmospheric lighting, themed soundscapes and interactive experiences. And every corner of the village is guaranteed to transport visitors into a magical world where adventure, laughter and imagination come together in a celebration of Halloween suitable for all ages.
As part of Halloweenville those with booked tickets can also enjoy an incredible selection of food and drink including freshly made authentic stone-baked pizzas, loaded nachos, delicious, sweet crêpes, seasonal treats, pumpkin spiced lattes, hot chocolate and a fully licensed bar serving alcoholic beverages for adults.
And as the sun sets over the lake, visitors can gather around crackling fire pits to toast marshmallows while enjoying live music each evening, creating the perfect cosy autumn atmosphere to round off their magical adventure.
Event manager and Halloweenville organiser Barbara Ikin said: “My vision for Halloweenville has always been to create something that feels like stepping into another world; more than just a Halloween trail, but a fully immersive adventure where families become part of the story.
“This year we’ve been really conscious of protecting that experience by limiting numbers and allowing families to explore in smaller groups. It means our characters can spend more interacting with the children, bringing the story to life and making each part of the adventure feel personal, magical and memorable.
“So much goes on behind the scenes to create Halloweenville and every year we’re looking at how we can push things further, with incredible worlds, live characters and interactive experiences around every corner. Seeing families come along and get genuinely swept up in the magic is what makes all the hard work worthwhile.
“We’re delighted with the response so far, with a number of dates already sold out, and we can’t wait to welcome more families this Halloween.”
