Knutsford bird park flies to top of Cheshire East rankings
A FAMILY-friendly day out has soared to the top of the charts in a new attractions ranking.
Knutsford's Gauntlet Birds of Prey, Eagle and Vulture Park has been named the highest-rated visitor attraction in Cheshire East, according to a study by SEO Backlinks based on Google review data.
The park earned an average rating of 4.88 stars from 1,565 reviews, outperforming other favourites in the area.
Quarry Bank in Styal and Tegg’s Nose Country Park near Macclesfield followed closely behind.
Daniel Weston, founder of SEO Backlinks, said: "With half-term next week, a lot of families in Cheshire East will be looking for somewhere to go, and the borough's best-rated places cover just about everything, from birds of prey and a miniature railway to a Tudor hall and big country walks.

"A few of the top 10, like Tegg's Nose, Brereton Heath and Mow Cop Castle, are free to visit, so you'd only be paying for parking."
The study analysed more than 3,000 Google Maps searches for attractions across the UK, refining the list to 21 destinations in Cheshire East with at least 300 Google reviews.
A total of 57,470 reviews were included in the analysis.
The top 10 attractions also include Little Moreton Hall near Congleton, St Mary’s Church in Nantwich, Brookside Miniature Railway in Poynton, and Mow Cop Castle.
Lower on the list were Hare Hill near Macclesfield, Lakemore Farm Park in Haslington, and Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker near Nantwich.
