5 Things to do this Week - 6th - 13th April
1. Springland at Partridge Lakes, Warrington
Get ready for a magical, storybook-style spring adventure that's perfect for families looking for something special to do in Cheshire this Easter. Walk this 1km interactive trail at your own pace and join Princess Araya on a quest through colourful themed zones (from knight training at Araya’s castle and meeting friendly alpacas at Twinklehorn Farm to making a wish at the woodland well and singing with mermaids at Bloomtide Bay), all set against a scenic lakeside backdrop with a welcoming café and pop-up food vendors, timed entry sessions that still let you explore at your own pace, and a fully accessible, dog-friendly set-up that even includes dedicated sensory sessions for a calmer experience.

2. Easter Hunts
Head to the great outdoors this week with two brilliant Easter egg hunts in Cheshire’s beautiful country parks. At Tegg’s Nose Country Park near Macclesfield, little explorers can follow a fun, family-friendly trail around the park, hunting for colourful egg boards and solving simple clues as they go, all while enjoying far-reaching views over the Cheshire Plain. Over at Brereton Heath Local Nature Reserve, families can pick up a trail sheet and set off around the lake and through the woods in search of hidden eggs, spotting wildlife and spring flowers along the way. Both trails are designed with younger children in mind, making them an easy way to add some fresh air and gentle adventure to your week in Cheshire.
3. Egg Venture at Go Ape! Delamere Forest
Looking for a fun outdoor family challenge this Easter? Egg-venture is a ‘cracking’ seasonal twist on Go Ape Delamere’s Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus, combining high ropes crossings and zip wires with a special trail. As you journey through the trees, you’ll hunt for hidden letters, work together to crack the Egg-venture puzzle and claim a prize at the end – a brilliant way to get everyone active during the school holidays. The Easter Egg-venture runs for a limited time from 28 March to 12 April as an optional add-on to Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus, with younger children (under six) best suited to Treetop Adventure, so make sure to book ahead to secure your slot.

4. Nantwich Jazz, Blues and Music Festival
The Nantwich Jazz, Blues & Music Festival is one of Cheshire’s biggest Easter weekend highlights, transforming the historic market town into a lively hub of live music from 2–6 April. Now in its 28th year, the festival brings a packed programme of gigs across multiple venues in and around Nantwich, from intimate pub sessions to headline shows at the Civic Hall, with jazz, blues, soul, rock and more on the bill. With so much music on offer across the long weekend, it’s the perfect excuse to make a day (or several) of it in Nantwich, soaking up the atmosphere, discovering new artists and enjoying great food, drink and independent shops in this charming Cheshire market town.
5. The Wizard of Oz, The Brindley
This week, join Dorothy Gale as she befriends a brainless Scarecrow, a loveable Tin Man and the cowardly Lion on their quest to thwart the evil powers of the Wicked Witch of the West. With a little help from Glinda the Good Fairy and the almighty and powerful Wizard of Oz, good is sure to conquer evil.
This Easter treat is fun for all the family from ages 2 to 102! Packed with great songs, brilliant dance routines and plenty of laughter, it’s going to be the best value family-friendly pantomime in town! Book now and join us on a magical adventure to the Land of Oz
Starring children's TV legend Basil Brush, Coronation Street's Alex Bain and Steven Arnold, the outrageous Jordan Bateman, Rob Stuart-Hudson and Brindley Panto favourite Rebecca Lake.
