Zugers is a family run cafe situated around the corner from the Roman Amphitheatre. Whether coming in for a quick espresso, a leisurely cappuccino, dinner with wine or ice cream milkshakes, Zugers selection of hot and cold drinks offers something for everyone. With a strong continental accent, Zuger's serves delicious homemade food prepared on the premises using local ingredients. From all day breakfasts through to freshly made sandwiches and hot toasties, to the Zugers own recipe burger, customers are spoilt for choice . Popular dishes like the Alpine Rosti reflect the family's Swiss roots. Zugers' boasts many regulars returning again and again for the company's mouth watering homemade cakes. Pear Soufflé Sponge, Orange Brulee Cheesecake, Chocolate and Chestnut Gateau and Apple Strudel are just a few examples od the sweet offer from the family's Brombrough bakery. Families are welcome with children's menu and craft activities. Zugers seats up to 50, in Spring openings it's courtyard for outdoor dining. There is sometimes a queue but those in the know, know it is worth the wait. Everything is available for take out for customers in a hurry and wanting to take a bit of Zugers' home. For those who can't get here the cafe offers an outside catering service including bespoke celebration cakes.
