Everybody's Talking About Jamie full cast announced

Producer Nici Burns is thrilled to announce the full cast for Everybody’s Talking About Jamie which comes to Storyhouse next year as part of a 10th anniversary tour.

The smash-hit musical is set to entertain Chester audiences from Monday 25 – Saturday 30 January 2027.

And today it can be revealed Kelle Bryan will play Miss Hedge and Divina De Campo appears as Hugo/Loco Chanelle - joining the previously announced Ashcon Rahmani as Jamie and Rebecca Trehearn as his mum.

Also joining the 10th anniversary cast will be Natasha Lewis (Ray), Mariam Pope (Pritti), Matthew Cavan (Trey Sophisticay), Daniel Jacob (Sandra Bollock), Jenson Steele (Laika Virgin), William Hazell (Dad), Kyle Dick (Dean), Ethen Casey-Clothier (Levi), Ellie Eames (Vicki), Uzuazo O’David (Cy), Grace Porter (Bex), Callum Saddler (Young Loco/1st cover Jamie), Fin Scott (Mickey), Zaynab Shahid (Fatimah), Will Stevenson-Jones (Sayid), Zarina Thompson (Becca), Jaiden Lodge (Swing), Ynez Williams (Swing) and Samantha Ivey (understudy Margaret/Miss Hedge/Ray).

Following a record-breaking three-year West End residency, two sold-out UK and Ireland tours and the Amazon Studios award-winning film, the critically acclaimed musical will feature a brand-new song from Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae.

Jamie New is 16 and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in. Jamie is terrified about the future. Jamie is going to be a sensation.

Supported by his brilliant loving mum Margaret, and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps out of the darkness into the spotlight.

With an original score of catchy pop tunes by lead singer of The Feeling, Dan Gillespie Sells, and writer Tom MacRae (Doctor Who), this ‘sparkling coming-of-age musical’ (The Times) will have everybody talking about Jamie for years to come.

Kelle received multiple award nominations for her role as Martine Deveraux in Hollyoaks: 2022 British Soap Awards – Best Leading Performer; 2021 and 2020 Inside Soap Awards – Best Actress; 2020 TV Choice Awards – Best Soap Actress and Best Storyline for the Black to Front episode. In music, as a member of R&B group Eternal she won a 1997 MOBO Award for Best Single for I Wanna Be the Only One, a 1996 Brit Award nomination for Best Dance and Soul Act and 1995 Brit Award nomination for Best Newcomer.

Divina De Campo plays Hugo/Loco Chanelle. Divina De Campo is a seasoned British drag queen, singer and performer, best known as the runner up on the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. With a signature four-octave range and razor-sharp coming timing, she has become a celebrated presence across stage and screen.

Divina has most recently finished playing The Amazing Karnak in Ride the Cyclone at Southwark Playhouse Elephant and will soon play Amanda in the London premiere of Amanda: The Night Before Me, a bold new musical by Rory Six, with an English adaptation by Charles Hart.

Further stage credits include Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Leeds Playhouse) which won Divina Best Performance in a Musical at the UK Theatre Awards; Mary Sunshine in Chicago (UK tour); Sheldon J Plankton in SpongeBob SquarePants: the Musical (UK tour) and Diana in Diana: the Mix Tape Musical (HERE at Outernet and The Lowry).

Television credits include The Voice UK (ITV); BBC’s All Together Now as one of ‘The 100’ expert judges; 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4); Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, MTV’s A-Z of Drag and appearances on The Big Questions and Children in Need.

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is a Sheffield Theatres production, produced on tour by Nica Burns, and has music by Dan Gillespie Sells and a book and lyrics by Tom MacRae from an idea by Jonathan Buttrell.

It is directed by Jonathan Buttrell, with tour director Matt Ryan, design by Anna Fleischle, choreography by Katie Prince, lighting design by Lucy Carter, sound design by Paul Groothuis, and musical supervision by Theo Jamieson. Casting is by Will Burton.
