DogFest - Tatton Park - June

Royal Cheshire County Show - 16th & 17th June 2026
The Royal Cheshire County Show is back this June with nail-biting competitions, attractions, lots of animals and some of the best food and shopping that Cheshire has to offer!
As part of the Show’s exciting return, visitors can look forward to all their favourite attractions and some spectacular new ones.
The 2025 show featured over 3,000 animals, a packed programme in the Horse Show and Sheep Show rings, and an impressive Food Hall with live cooking demonstrations that delighted food lovers throughout the day.
The Main Ring was a true highlight, hosting a spectacular parade that drew the crowds. The incredible Stannage Stunt Team wowed audiences with their thrilling performances, and the much-loved annual Young Farmers’ parade brought colour, energy and creativity to the arena, with their brilliant floats.
Great British Food Festival - Arley Hall & Gardens
9th & 10th May 2026
The Great British Food Festival - with artisan market, street food, bars, chef demos, live music, live fire stage, Men vs Food, cake off, dessert stage, mini zoo, kids cookery, adult cookery, foraging walks, kids activities, crafts and gifts and more! Plus there will be mini rides, bungee trampolines and bouncy castles, always a favourite!


Chester Heritage Festival - 23rd May - 7th June 2026
The Chester Heritage Festival, is set to be even bigger and better than ever! You can expect the usual range of fascinating walks and talks but, there will be an expanded programme packed full of events and activities for children and families, promising a mix of fun and educational experiences. There will be something to captivate visitors of all ages while celebrating a decade of showcasing Chester’s remarkable history and heritage.
Brit Fest - Ashley Hall Showground - 2nd - 5th July 2026
The Brit Fest is back and bigger than ever with three incredible days of live music, family fun, and unforgettable experiences.
Whether you’re a seasoned festival-goer or a first-timer, The Brit Fest has something for you. Join us for a celebration you will not forget.

Deva Fest - Cholmondeley Castle - 6th - 9th August 2026
Deva Fest is BACK from the 6th – 9th of August at the beautiful Cholmondeley Castle Gardens in Cheshire.
Deva Fest is a great value family-friendly four-day extravaganza of music, comedy, camping, family entertainment, including the popular free-to-ride fairground, and fabulous handpicked food and drink stalls from local suppliers.
Deva Fest 2026 brings three distinct days of live music, big-name pop and feel-good nostalgia across the weekend. Friday sets the tone with dance anthems and party vibes from Symphonic Ibiza, N-Trance, The Christians, EMF and Bingo Bango, with a major headliner still to be announced.
Saturday leans into pure pop nostalgia, with Ronan Keating, Vengaboys, A1, Dave Pearce, Dick and Dom and Rattlesnake Johnny leading a high-energy, crowd-pleasing bill. Sunday closes the festival in style with powerhouse vocals and eclectic sounds from Jessie J, Ash, Gok Wan, K Klass, The Stickmen Project and Apache Indian, rounding off a varied and family-friendly lineup for 2026.
Together Again Festival - 24th - 26th July 2026
This three-day festival will turn the historic castle grounds into a vibrant hub of music and entertainment. The UK’s largest family-friendly festival, ‘In it Together’, is set to bring their newest festival, ‘Together Again’, back to Bolesworth.
Together Again Festival will bring people together through a mix of world-class acts, family-friendly activities and showcase the very best emerging artists. The festival will transform the historic grounds of Bolesworth Castle into a vibrant haven of music and entertainment

Tatton Park Foodies Festival - 10th - 12th July 2026
This year's Foodies Festival is set to be their biggest celebration yet of top chefs, tasty food, delicious drinks and live music.
Watch MasterChef Champions, Michelin-starred and top local chefs cooking their signature summer recipes in the La Espanola Chefs Theatre.
Learn how to make show-stopping cakes in The Cake & Bake Theatre with expert bakers. Great British Bake Off stars will share their best baking hints and tips live on stage with easy to make recipes that are as delicious to look at as they are to eat.
Have fun all day with chilli eating competitions and food challenges! Kids join in the fun at The Kids Cookery Theatre.

Cheshire Game and Country Fair - Knutsford
30th & 31st August 2026
The Cheshire Game & Country fair is a fair for all the family with THREE main arenas packed full of things to entertain all ages. Come and watch Scurry Racing, Falconry, Ferret Racing and Shire horse Displays. Have a go at clay shooting, fishing lessons, airgun training and archery. The speed carving is something to behold and there is even a chance to buy the smaller carvings. Not only that there is a Food Glorious Food tent offering a range of national and local food producers with a number of cookery demonstrations and even a craft village with demonstrations. All offering an unbeatable day out!


Nantwich Show - 29th July 2026
The Nantwich Show will feature a range of animals, technologies, businesses and entertainment for all ages.
A fun-filled day for all the family with over 250 trade stands and attractions, two display arenas, children’s activities, food stalls, bars and lots of livestock classes and displays.
Last year there were over 1,000 competition entries spanning Cattle, Sheep, Shire Horses, Home Produce, Arts & Crafts, Pigeons, Eggs, Floristry and Dogs.
Just So Festival, Rode Hall - 21st - 23rd August 2026
Just So Festival is set to return to Cheshire in 2026, bringing its much-loved weekend of family arts and outdoor adventure back to the grounds of Rode Hall. Across three imaginative days, families can step into a world of wild freedom, glittering wonder, vibrant music, circus, storytelling and joyful, open-ended play in the woodlands, parkland and around the lakes. Taking place from 21–23 August 2026, the festival is created and produced by Wild Rumpus CIC and is designed especially for families to explore, create and make magical memories together under the summer skies in Cheshire.

For a touch of magic, visit Blakemere Village for their popular Magical Woodland event featuring BRAND NEW themes to guarantee you an evening of Halloween family fun! In the heart of the Cheshire Countryside, experience nature in all its Autumnal glory, lit up by dazzling cathedral canopies of fairy lights, interactive light features, and dancing tunnels of Borealis-style lasers. The Halloween theme features some family favourites, including: Dinosaurs, Ghostbusters, Under the Sea, Hocus Pocus and more!
