Departing the vibrant city centre of Manchester, you’ll travel along Stockport Viaduct - the largest brick structure in Britain, across the plains of Cheshire and pass small traditional villages before you reach the end of the line at the historic railway town of Crewe. Along your journey look out for one of the biggest and most powerful radio telescopes in the world at Jodrell Bank, which played a key role in the Space Race.
