Combermere Abbey Cottages

Combermere Abbey is the perfect countryside retreat nestled on the Cheshire/Shropshire border. The elegant Courtyard Cottages, centred around the Victorian Stables, are comprised of nine beautifully appointed, dog-friendly self-catering cottages. The cottages sleep between four and ten guests, offering the perfect retreat for couples, families and even solo travellers.

Converted from the 19th -century Combermere stables and set within the heart of the Combermere Abbey estate, the Grade -II listed Courtyard Cottages range in both size and style, each with excellent attention to detail and comfort. Stone Lodge, the charming Gothic gatehouse, sits at the estate's entrance and sleeps up to four guests. Set within its own damson orchard and surrounded by beautiful trees, Stone Lodge is a romantic getaway, with a private entrance, enclosed garden, and large sunny terrace.

During your stay, you can enjoy a wonderful stroll through Combermere Abbey's ancient woodlands and explore the Pleasure Garden and Garden Wood that leads you down to the mere with stunning views and wildlife.
