The Hole In Wand Chester set to reopen - 12th April
The magical mini golf course in the heart of the city will open its doors again on Saturday 12th April 2025 following flooding disasters.
Chester’s most magical attraction, The Hole In Wand located on Eastgate in the heart of the city has been closed since Saturday 11th January due to two floods caused by the cities complicated piping and the incorrect disposal of fat and grease from nearby restaurants. This led to the attraction having to remove and dispose of the sites contents, future proof the site and start the process of rebuilding.
However the date is set for the attraction to reopen and the team have added some additional elements to the course and theming to enhance the offering based of feedback from customers that visited in the first 6 months of 2024 after initially opening.
To celebrate the reopening of the attraction and to mark the fact that the attraction was under water the site are offering a free souvenir photo to anyone who brings with them an item they would take swimming such as goggles, arm bands and beach balls during the opening weekend.
Group Operations Manager, Sam Budworth said ‘We are excited to reopen The Hole In Wand Chester, and the team are working hard to ensure that the course is fresh and exciting. We can’t wait to share the additions we have made throughout the course as part of the rebuild and welcome back wizards and witches’.
Online bookings have opened again and can be booked at www.theholeinwand.com/chester
