Record-Breaking Deva Fest 2025 Draws Biggest Crowd Yet in a Weekend of Sunshine, Music, and Celebration

Deva Fest’s milestone 5th birthday celebration has wrapped up in spectacular style, attracting a record-breaking crowd to the stunning grounds of Cholmondeley Castle for the festival’s biggest weekend to date.

With glorious sunshine from start to finish, festival-goers enjoyed three days of unforgettable live music, free family-friendly entertainment, and an incredible selection of food and drink from some of the region’s best street food traders, local breweries, and artisan producers.

Friday saw an electrifying start with icons Happy Mondays delivering hit after hit, alongside euphoric performances from Symphonic Ibiza and dance-pop favourites D:Ream.

Saturday brought an incredible mix of nostalgia and powerhouse vocals, with Matt Goss, The Bootleg Beatles, and house music legends K-Klass setting the stage for the undisputed highlight of the night US disco legend Gloria Gaynor. Performing her only UK show of 2025, Gaynor’s timeless anthemI Will Survive had the crowd singing in unison as the sun set over the Cheshire countryside.

Currently in the middle of a high-profile run supporting Oasis this summer, Cast managed to fit Deva Fest into their packed tour schedule delivering an electrifying headline set that proved a massive hit with the crowd and closed the weekend in style alongside Sigala, Stereo MC’s and Altered Images.

Festival Director Phil Marston said:

"To welcome our biggest ever crowd in our anniversary year under perfect blue skies was unforgettable. I’m so grateful to the management of The Fratellis and Cast for working together and supporting an independent local festival and for Cast to include us in their busy summer while on tour with Oasis made it an incredible coup for Deva Fest. They were outstanding and gave us the perfect finale."
