5. Warrington Mela
On Sunday, the leading outdoor multi-cultural festival, Warrington Mela, will be returning to Warrington.
You can expect a day of free street theatre, dance, music, food, and colliding cultures spread across Queens Gardens and Time Square.
Come along to see giant puppets draped in the world’s first sustainable Sari fabric, created by Manchester’s Nutkhut for the Platinum Jubilee Pageant celebrations in Central London 2022.
This year’s theme, “Home,” explores ideas of belonging, identity and community through live performance, creative workshops, and international street food.
