Discover a truly unique wedding venue at Tatton Park's exclusive Wedding Open Day on Sunday 13 September 2026
Tatton Park is delighted to announce that, for the first time in its history, the magnificent Old Hall will be available as a wedding venue, offering couples the opportunity to celebrate their special day in one of Cheshire's most atmospheric and historically significant sites.
Steeped in centuries of history, the Old Hall is the oldest surviving building at Tatton Park and provides an extraordinary backdrop for couples seeking a wedding venue filled with character, romance and authenticity. Surrounded by beautiful parkland and historic gardens, the timber-framed Tudor manor offers an intimate and enchanting setting unlike any other in the region.
From its striking architectural features and period interiors to its picturesque location within the wider Tatton Park estate, the Old Hall combines historic charm with the flexibility to create a truly personal celebration. Whether couples dream of a relaxed outdoor gathering, an elegant ceremony steeped in history, or a bespoke event that embraces the beauty of the surrounding landscape, the venue provides endless inspiration.
To celebrate the launch, Tatton Park will host a Wedding Open Day on Sunday 13 September 2026, inviting couples to explore the Old Hall grounds and discover how this remarkable space could become the setting for their dream wedding.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet Tatton Park's experienced events team, who will be on hand throughout the day to discuss wedding plans, share ideas and answer questions. The open day will also feature a range of carefully selected wedding suppliers, including drinks from Jonny Cocktail, food vendors, a professional celebrant and a beautifully styled tipi set within the grounds, helping couples envision the possibilities for their own celebration.
Charlene Clarke, Events Manager at Tatton Park, said:
"We are incredibly excited to open the doors of the Old Hall for weddings for the very first time. It is a truly special venue that offers couples the chance to celebrate in a setting rich with character, history and natural beauty.
