Full line-up of offers revealed for Warrington Restaurant Week

The deals are in for Warrington Restaurant Week, with restaurants, bars and cafés across the town centre signed up for a week of special menus, discounts and events this October.

Running from Monday, October 12th to Sunday, October 18th, the popular campaign returns for its second year, bringing together well-known names and independents with offers spanning family meals, lunch dates, evenings out, cocktails, bowling and 2-for-1 tacos.

Organised by Warrington BID, this year’s Restaurant Week will run under the theme ‘Our Town, Our Table’, celebrating the town’s food and drink scene and the many different ways people enjoy it.

The line-up includes Costello’s Bar, Discobowl, The White Hart, ASK Italian, Dorado Lounge, Mackbear Coffee Co., Taco Bell, The Friar Penketh, and much more to be discovered on the We Are Warrington website.

Families can feed four for £46 at ASK Italian, while at Monia’s Cakes, customers buying four takeaway cakes will receive 10% off.

For a date night or evening out, Discobowl is offering any pizza, two cocktails or mocktails and a game of bowling for £30, while Zeytin Mediterranean Restaurant is giving diners 30% off its à la carte menu. The White Hart will also have special steak and cocktail deals throughout the week.

Groups of friends can take advantage of daily promotions at The Friar Penketh, drinks deals at Costello’s Bar, two courses for £20 or three for £25 at The Botanist, and 30% off main courses at The Blue Bell between 4pm and 6pm.

Andrea Morley, Commercial BIDs Project Manager, said: “Restaurant Week is a chance to show just how much there is to discover in Warrington. We have national names alongside fantastic independents, places people have loved for years and others they might not have tried yet.

“‘Our Town, Our Table’ brings all of that together and gives people a reason to make a week of it, from lunch with colleagues or dinner with the family to drinks with friends and trying somewhere completely new.”

Lunchtime choices range from coffee, toasties and teacakes at Mackbear Coffee Co. to discounts at Patina, Sakan Bistro and Soma, while Monia’s Cakes will be introducing a new hot apple crumble.

Elsewhere, Taco Bell is offering 2-for-1 tacos, while Patina will have two pizzas and two drinks for £30, three small plates for £21 or three nibbles for £10. Zeytin Mediterranean Restaurant is also offering two starters and two mains for £40.

There is more planned beyond eating and drinking, with several businesses putting on special events. Mamars Artisan Bakery & Delicatessen will host an afternoon dedicated to cheese as well as a sourdough class for returning participants, while The Friar Penketh will be giving out free menu tasters during the week.
