Easter adventures with the National Trust’s Easter egg trails
· Over eight National Trust Easter trails taking place across the North West including Quarry Bank, Dunham Massey, Lyme, Speke Hall, Little Moreton Hall, Hare Hill, Rufford Old Hall and Sizergh
· Trails taking place over the bank holiday weekend (3–6 April) and during local school holidays

Taking place over the Easter bank holiday weekend (3–6 April) and coinciding with local school holidays there are more than eight National Trust Easter trails to choose from in the North West.
Each National Trust Easter trail features activities inspired by nature, beauty and history. From identifying spring flowers and wildlife to uncovering intriguing histories, every single Easter trail is jam-packed with outdoor activities and experiences.
Every trail ends with a chocolate egg, or a vegan and Free From chocolate egg, made here in the UK using cocoa from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.
National Trust Easter egg trails cost £3.50 per child, plus free admission for National Trust members.
Plus, a special National Trust membership offer (live from 21 March) will give new members the opportunity to enjoy the Easter trails for FREE.
Between Saturday 21 March – Sunday 19 April 2026 (inclusive), any new Family, Junior, Young Persons, Individual or Joint membership purchased at a National Trust place or online and paid for with annual Direct Debit, can receive a free Easter trails voucher. This voucher entitles all children under 18, to free ‘Easter adventures’ trails an unlimited number of times at participating National Trust properties. [1].

Cheshire and Greater Manchester
Lyme, Stockport, Cheshire

Borrow a free nature pack to explore the gardens and parklands to see what wildlife you can spot – the bird hide is the perfect place to start your adventure. There’s plenty to see and do for families at this Tudor house in Lancashire. Young adventurers can explore the garden in style on a borrowed balance bike, get close to wildlife on a canal walk or dress up in suits of armour to let imaginations run free.

At the gateway to the Lake District, this 1,600-acre estate is home to fells and rolling fields, wetlands and ancient woodland.
