Lantern Parade

Chester’s Lantern Parade returns on Thursday, 27th November 2025, bringing luminous magic to the city’s festive calendar. Starting at 7 pm from the Town Hall, the parade will wind through the city centre surrounded by the warm glow of handmade lanterns, many crafted and carried by local schoolchildren. Led by the enchanting Queen of Light puppet, this beloved event sets Chester’s streets aglow for a heartwarming spectacle that captures the city’s holiday spirit.
