About

Bunbury Village Day

We are delighted to announce that Bunbury Village Day will take place on Saturday 14 June 2025 and this year we’re turning up the volume with a celebration of music and a day of Summer Sounds!

We are inviting a host of musical contributors from near and far to ensure there’s something for everyone. Expect to see the very energetic and colourful Karama Samba, Wombat & Muttley, with their infectious pirate ditties and shenanigans, Bunbury’s very own Just Sing choir, the ever-popular Chester Brass Band, the legendary Lost Boys - Bunbury’s original rockers and firm favourites, The Easy Peelers, with many more acts to be announced!

We are also planning ways for EVERYONE to find their musical groove by taking part in workshops making musical instruments as well as encouraging everyone on the Jubilee Play Fields to sing, play and dance the day away!

It’s now time to start planning your musical themed costumes. Whether you’re a Rock Star, Disco Diva, Pop Icon, Rock and Roll Legend, Punk Rocker, Classical Composer or even a Jukebox, Cassette Tape or a Musical Instrument, we encourage you to get creative! And don’t forget there will be prizes for the best dressed!

As always, Bunbury Village Day will also feature all the beloved traditions that make this event so special. Look forward to meeting Bunbury Royalty, our Rose Queen, Rose King, and their attendants, enjoying a well-stocked bar, a delicious BBQ, a variety of stalls, the classic WI Café, thrilling fairground rides, and so much more!

Summer Sounds promises to be a day like no other. It’s a chance to celebrate our vibrant community, enjoy fantastic live music, and make unforgettable memories with friends and family. So, get ready to dance, play and sing - this is a day you won’t want to miss!
