Located just within the Citys Walls, the pub has seen many a visitor as its loved by both the locals and tourists.The Bear & Billet has subtle hints to its varied past (including the resident ghosts). Originally the town house of the Earls of Shrewsbury, the pub is also the birthplace of Beatles legend John Lennons grandmother!
