Summer Gallant

Summer is the Town Crier for the town of Riverview, New Brunswick, Canada. At 25 years old she is new to the role, but loud, proud and never shy about being a little silly. Having participated in theatre at some level since elementary school, she loves to perform and bring joy to those around her.

Summer has lived in various cities across Canada, spent eight months in New Zealand as an Au Pair, and currently runs a cafe in her hometown. Community is at the heart of everything she does, and being Town Crier is, for her, an incredible way to bring community together and keep a fun traditional role alive.

She is a self-confessed yes girl who takes any and every opportunity that presents itself, including this one, and is sure to bring a smile to onlookers' faces. She also feels strongly that it is important to show other young people, women especially, that keeping traditions alive can be a whole lot of fun.
