Adrian Holmes is the official Town Crier and Sword Bearer for the City of Lichfield.

Official Duties: He serves as Lichfield's public crier, officially opening civic events like the annual Shrovetide Fair. He originally started as a town crier for Sandwell in 2010 before taking on roles in Lichfield.

Sword Bearer: Present at events like Easter Service and Remembrance Service at Lichfield Cathedral, along with various other events.

The Chester Tournament: Proud and honoured to be representing the City of Lichfield at the 2026 Tournament, having been at the previous Tournament in 2014.

Achievements: Adrian has won various awards across the years; including 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, best dressed, best content of cry, and probably the one most treasured, Best Ambassador award which, he has gained on several occasions.
