'Sister Act: The Musical' is an adaptation of the beloved 1992 film "Sister Act," which starred Whoopi Goldberg. The story follows Deloris Van Cartier, a singer who witnesses a murder by her gangster boyfriend, Curtis. To protect her, the police hide her in a convent, where she reluctantly becomes Sister Mary Clarence. Struggling to fit into the convent's lifestyle, Deloris transforms the choir of nuns, turning them into a vibrant and soulful group that gains widespread attention. This fame jeopardizes her safety as Curtis tracks her down. In the end, with the help of her newfound friends in the convent and the police, Deloris manages to escape danger, ultimately finding a deeper sense of purpose and community. The musical features a score by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater, bringing a fresh and lively soundtrack to the heartwarming and comedic story.

Salt & Pepper Productions are a relatively new Theatre Company established in 2016, initially for one production to raise money for charity with the 80s musical 'Rock of Ages'. Our mission was to bring a little theatrical spice 'Pepper' to Northwich 'Salt' and to raise money for a charity close to our hearts - Headway the brain injury association. In 2021 we decided to re-ignite the company and produce another show, the award-winning, sell out production of 'Calendar Girls the Musical' and most recently another award-winning musical '9-5'. We are a welcoming company, who aim to bring joy to all members and our audience, whilst also raising money for charity. We hope that you will enjoy our heavenly production.
