English Tourism Week - 13 - 22 March 2026

Save the date! English Tourism Week will take place on 13-22 March 2026.

VisitEngland is proud to lead English Tourism Week celebrating our diverse, exciting and vibrant sector, and highlighting the quality and value of the English tourism offer.

The week shines a spotlight on the outstanding quality and exceptional value that English tourism brings to visitors and communities alike.

Tourism is one of England’s largest, most valuable industries, supporting hundreds of thousands of small-to-medium sized businesses, millions of jobs and generating about £76 billion annually for the economy in domestic visitor spending.

English Tourism Week forms part of VisitEngland’s commitment to champion the sector through political engagement nationally, regionally and locally – demonstrating to political decision-makers and key stakeholders including Minsters, MPs, industry and the media, the vital importance of tourism to England and local communities. This annual campaign raises awareness of the huge contribution English tourism makes to the UK economy and its powerful potential to drive economic growth and prosperity across all regions.

- Give businesses an opportunity to engage with local stakeholders such as MPs and media, to bring attention to tourism’s contribution in their area.

- Increase awareness among domestic visitors of the quality and variety of the English tourism offer, and encourage domestic travel.
