Shop Local Nantwich Awards

In a glittering event at Wychwood Park Hotel on 31st January, Nantwich Food Festival was crowned with the title ‘Shop Local Award, Nantwich Best Event Organiser’.

What a successful year this makes for the Nantwich Food Festival team: first the accolade of the Cheshire Life Best Event of the Year and now the Shop Local award too; can things get any better in 2026?

Accepting the award on behalf of the Festival, Food Awards Manager and Marquee Manager, Ana Martins said “I am struggling for words to express just how pleased I am on behalf of the Festival, having received the award of Best Event Organiser.

We work hard throughout the year to ensure that not only is Nantwich Food Festival organised and run to high professional standards, but that it also encourages visitors to shop in our wonderful local businesses too. Each year we hear of visitors who, having experienced our lovely town over the Festival weekend, then decide to move to live here.”

Work within the Festival team is already well-underway, planning what will be another great event, so if you don’t already have the dates in your diary it’s a good time to do so now: Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September. You can expect all the favourites plus some new ideas too.

Ana has recently handed over the baton of Volunteer Manager to joint post-holders, Andrew and Linda Martin; Andrew is one of the Festival Directors and both of them have volunteered for some years.
