Orford Park

This unique regeneration venture will use sport, leisure, health, education and lifelong learning to increase the health and well-being of the local community.

The £30million Orford Park project will transform 50 acres of a former landfill site and enhance the facilities of the popular Victorian community park.

The community sports hub building will contain the following fantastic facilities:

•library and ICT
•community activity and meeting rooms
•14-19 Diploma Centre
•café
•swimming pools
•health and fitness suite
•dance studios
•squash courts
•sports hall
•crèche

The outdoor areas will have:

•walking and cycling paths around the new grass pitches
•skateboarding and BMX cycling facilities
•upgraded and extended play area
•floodlit bowling greens
•new pavilion

Within the building, the Diploma Centre will provide areas for five health/science related courses

NHS Warrington will house three GP practices in the building, together with their lifestyles team and a pharmacy.
