Wilmslow's Free Live Music Festival

Orbit Developments has been announced as headline sponsor of Wilmslow Live 2026, as the hugely popular free music festival returns to the town centre for another year with live entertainment, community spirit and family fun.
Taking place on Saturday 6th June 2026, the much-loved event will once again transform Bank Square and other locations within the town centre into a vibrant open-air festival destination, welcoming visitors from across Cheshire and beyond for a full day of live music, food, entertainment and activities.
Backed by Orbit Developments, one of the North West’s leading commercial property specialists and a long-standing supporter of Wilmslow town centre events, the festival has quickly become one of the town’s biggest and most well attended annual events celebrating local talent and supporting local businesses.
Organised by Wilmslow’s Way Better, funded through the Wilmslow Business Improvement District, Wilmslow Live promises an exciting programme of live music and entertainment from 12pm to 7pm, with a line-up featuring emerging artists, local bands and crowd-pleasing performers. 

Already confirmed are acclaimed singer-songwriter Heidi Anne, rising Indie-Rock band The Inflorescence, local favourites Cherry Red and acoustic five-piece The Recliners.
The Inflorescence, formed in 2024 by students from Sir John Deane’s College, have quickly gained attention following the release of their debut studio singles earlier this year. Inspired by bands including The Smiths, REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Oasis, the five-piece band is building a reputation for energetic live performances and original music.
Meanwhile, The Recliners will bring their signature acoustic twist to favourite songs from across the decades, blending guitar, bass and harmonica with rich vocal harmonies, alongside a selection of original material.
Alongside the live music, visitors can enjoy street food vendors, family entertainment and free activities throughout the day, helping to create a lively festival atmosphere for all ages.
