Wilmslow Comic Con will return this year with an even more exciting line-up, as the FREE family-friendly event once again takes over Wilmslow town centre. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, Wilmslow Comic Con 2026 will bring a host of Sci-Fi characters to town. Favourites from Doctor Who, including the iconic Daleks and a life-sized Tardis will give fans the chance to step into the world of one of Britain’s most loved sci-fi series. Other highlights include a Star Wars zone, featuring an impressive X-Wing starfighter, superheroes and Transformers plus a FREE superhero workshop for children. Colourful characters will be roaming the town centre throughout the day, offering plenty of photo opportunities and interactive moments for visitors of all ages, while a dedicated market area will showcase traders specialising in comics, sci-fi, film and TV-inspired goods.

The FREE superhero workshop is designed especially for children, giving young fans the chance to get creative, learn new skills and fully immerse themselves in the Comic Con experience. Wilmslow Comic Con is proudly delivered by Wilmslow’s Way Better, funded through the Wilmslow Business Improvement District (BID), as part of its ongoing programme to stimulate growth in the town centre, support local businesses and create memorable events for residents and visitors alike. Lisa Russett, Wilmslow BID Manager, said: “We’re really excited to be bringing Wilmslow Comic Con back this year after such a fantastic response and attendance in 2025. And it’s not just for kids, there’s something for every generation to enjoy. It’s a brilliant, free event for families and fans, and a great way to showcase Wilmslow’s vibrant and welcoming town centre.” Wilmslow Comic Con takes place in Wilmslow town centre and is FREE to attend, with no booking or tickets required. Visitors are encouraged to come along in costume and enjoy a day of family-friendly entertainment, shopping and spectacle.
