Holiday-ed in North Wales | A talk by Stephen Clarke

Three postcards of Rhyl’s Botanical Gardens, sent to the artist’s grandmother over a ten-year period, reveal changes to place and people.

They formed the starting point for Stephen Clarke’s picturing of his own family holidays at the seaside of Rhyl. This talk will explore the connections between Clarke’s artworks, his family photographs, and collected print ephemera.
