Art School Photography Special: Colourful contemporary still life with a camera
Art School Photography Special: Colourful contemporary still life with a camera
This 1-hour semi-guided session in the museum offers an opportunity to experiment with your phone or digital camera while learning simple design techniques for photographing everyday scenes. We’ll begin by taking inspiration from the modern use of still life in advertising and design, then create our own images using everyday objects arranged in imaginative ways. The session will explore how the use of space and composition can transform an image and help tell different visual stories.
Please bring a mobile phone or digital camera if possible. All other equipment will be provided.
This session is facilitated by Mary Hill, photographer and artist.
