Afterglow at Chester Zoo

Whether you’re making the most of a full day at Chester Zoo with extra summer evening hours, or joining from 3 – 8pm, this is your chance to experience Chester Zoo in its golden-hour glow.

Taking place from Friday 31 July – Sunday 16 August (excluding Mondays), Afterglow is an experience like no other. Full of colour, music, fun – and, of course, animals – Chester Zoo has packed so much into these evenings, so you get to stay later, discover more and enjoy a day to remember.

A standard zoo admission ticket includes access to Afterglow - so you can enjoy a full day at Chester Zoo and stay on into the evening as the zoo transforms from 3 – 8pm.

Or, if you prefer to join later, evening only tickets are also available.
