The National Waterways Museum is set within the historic dock buildings of Ellesmere Port and brings the story of the canal industry to life through original warehouses, heritage working boats, and the people who lived and worked on them.
Anderton Boat Lift Visitor Centre offers the chance to take a river cruise from the foot of this iconic Victorian lift, built to raise and lower boats between the River Weaver and the Trent & Mersey Canal.
