The riverside area is the home to the saline spring which feeds the outdoor swimming pool and on which Nantwich’s prosperity has been largely founded.
Access: Nantwich Riverside is located close to the town centre. Free car parking is available at the lake and in St Anne’s car park off Welsh Row. A further car park is located off Shrewbridge Road (the access path from this car park has a chicane limiting the width of the path to 120 cm). All car parks have uneven gravel surfaces. Minibuses can access each of the car parks. Nantwich is well connected by bus and rail services, and has a number of bus routes within the town itself.
Toilets: There are no toilet facilities on the route; facilities exist in the town centre.
