Display panels in the Centre tell the story of his life, from Cheshire parson’s son, to Oxford mathematician, photographer and author.
Free for individuals, donations welcome. There is a small charge for group tours and for school groups taking part in workshop activities. Please see web site for details and booking.

Daresbury village is on the A56, and close to Junction 11 on the M56. There is an hourly bus service, from Chester, via Runcorn Shopping Centre (Halton Lea) and Warrington. (See timetable for details). Warrington Central Station is on the Liverpool-Manchester line and is 1 minute from the bus station. Warrington Bank Quay Station is on the west coast line, about 20 minutes’ walk from the bus station. Daresbury is also a 10 minute walk up Keckwick Lane, from the Bridgewater canal, for visitors arriving by boat.
