2) Chester Literature Festival

3) Diwali Celebrations at Norton Priory
Head over to Norton Priory this week to celebrate the Hindu festival of light, with a family friendly celebration including Indian food and decorative crafts. Make and decorate your own Diya from clay, find out about the story of Diwali through the museum trail, and join in with making collective Rangoli throughout the afternoon. There will also be delicious Indian food for all to enjoy - including traditional vegetarian curry, with rice and condiments. Find out more ->
4) A visit to Parr Hall, Warrington
Nestled in the heart of Warrington’s Cultural Quarter, Parr Hall is one of the North West’s premier performance, arts and entertainment venues. There is so much going on there this week with music from Foster and Allen, a glorious visual and thought-provoking show from Astronomer and author Adrian West, humour with Mark and Lard from Radio 1, tales of adventure from journalist and explorer Simon Reeve and insights into true crime with Colin Sutton, Senior Investigative Officer, to name a few! 5) A visit to Storyhouse
Storyhouse is Chester’s multi award-winning £37m theatre, library, restaurant and cinema. The restored and revitalised 1930s Odeon building houses an 800-seat auditorium, a 150-seat studio theatre, a restaurant and two bars plus a 100-seat boutique, independent cinema. This week you can enjoy an intimate evening with pop royalty Martin Fry, live music from Oysterband, historical insights from John Nichol, or hear royal secrets from acclaimed historian, broadcaster and bestselling author Kate Williams.
