The incredible classic musical, 'Oliver!' is being brought to life at Queen's Park High School with an outstanding cast, crew and band for 2026! This production is one of the school's most ambitious yet and is supported by our wonderful peers at Chester International School. Oliver! is a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novel Oliver Twist, following the journey of a young orphan in Victorian London. Escaping a harsh workhouse, Oliver falls in with a gang of child pickpockets led by the charismatic but sinister Fagin. As Oliver navigates a world of crime, he encounters the kind-hearted Nancy and the menacing Bill Sikes. His quest for love, belonging, and identity unfolds through iconic songs like “Consider Yourself” and “Food, Glorious Food.” Ultimately, Oliver finds safety and family, highlighting themes of resilience, justice, and compassion in a gritty yet heart-warming tale! A fantastic evening is guaranteed as we transport you back to Victorian England and bring this brilliant story to life in Handbridge!
