Build a cosy nesting box at Macclesfield Repair Cafe

Join us on Saturday 14 February for a hands-on bird box workshop, perfect for welcoming spring chicks. Learn simple make-and-repair skills with plenty of guidance — no experience needed. Tickets are a £6 donation and include a pre-cut bird box kit. This popular one-hour activity is suitable for adults and teens, with supervised children aged 6+ very welcome. Our regular Repair Café will be active, so you’ll see visitors bringing along items in need of repair and getting help from our skilled volunteers with sharpening, adjusting, wiring, soldering, gluing, nailing and sewing — helping reduce waste and keep items out of landfill.
