Celebrity Chef Aiden Byrne Joins Tatton Park to Champion Shop & Eat Local Weekend, 4 & 5 October

Tatton Park hosts its Shop & Eat Local Weekend on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October. Following on from the success of its first year – Tatton will be celebrating the best of British produce in partnership with renowned chef and TV personality Aiden Byrne. Coinciding with British Food Fortnight and Tatton Park’s annual Apple Day on Sunday 5 October, the weekend promises a vibrant showcase of local food, seasonal produce, and culinary inspiration.

Aiden Byrne, the youngest chef to earn a Michelin star and owner of LI~LY, Knutsford’s newly celebrated restaurant, will host live cookery demonstrations at Tatton Park’s rare breed Farm on Sunday 5 October throughout the day. Using farm lamb and fresh garden vegetables grown and reared on the estate, he’ll be creating a seasonal dish on the day, taking inspiration from his autumn menu, sharing his passion for local sourcing and seasonal cooking. Aiden says "It feels so natural to be cooking with such beautiful, homegrown ingredients from Tatton Park’s farm and gardens. I’m honoured to be part of an event that celebrates not just amazing seasonal produce, but also the importance of supporting our local community and sustainable farming. Tatton Park is the perfect setting to showcase how local food brings people together and inspires us all to cook with what’s on our doorstep.”
