Combermere Abbey Estate is one of Cheshire’s most historic gems with 1000 acres of stunning ancient parkland, woods and a large mere. A privately owned estate with almost 900 years of history, the historic buildings and landscape both inspire and captivate its visitors. Sitting on the border of Cheshire and Shropshire between the market towns of Nantwich and Whitchurch visitors can easily explore the wonderful heritage and gardens this area has to offer.
Combermere Abbey Estate has ten beautifully appointment, award winning self-catering cottages. These idyllic cottages were converted from the 19th century Combermere stables. Ranging in size and style, excellent attention to detail and comfort there is so much to offer.
Each of the cottages offers a well equipped kitchen, lounge area and luxurious bedrooms. Guests can also relax in their own garden/terrace space.
During their stay guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful stroll through Combermere Abbey’s ancient woodland and explore the Pleasure Garden and Garden Wood that leads you down to the lake with stunning countryside views.
All of the cottages are dog friendly and your four-legged friend will even receive their very own pooch pack, filled with special treats
Combermere cottages are the perfect place to stay for families, groups of friends or individuals wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle.
Combermere is perfectly situated and within easy driving distance of Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, The Midlands and The Potteries. Crewe railway station is readily accessible, as are Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham airports.
