The hugely popular Holmes Chapel Christmas Market & Fair is returning on Sunday 1 December.
The much-loved event is being hosted by voluntary organisation Holmes Chapel Partnership which has been working tirelessly since the summer to ensure the Christmas Market & Fair is bigger and better than ever before!
London Road (The Square), from the roundabouts down to and including Parkway, will be closed to traffic and brought to life with almost 40 festive stalls.
Together with a further ten stalls located inside the Scout Hall, visitors can enjoy the return of popular vendors, alongside new faces and products.
It is the perfect place to find Christmas gifts, while also supporting local businesses and organisations.
FAIRGROUND & SANTA:
A fairground area has been created on the car park behind Tesco with a choice of seven rides, hook-a-duck, plus a candy floss stall.
Santa Claus will also be out on his sleigh to meet the children on Parkway, behind The Village Kitchen.
ENTERTAINMENT:
The village will be reminded that the Christmas Market is about to open with a peel of bells from St Luke's Church at 2.30pm.
Entertainment on the stage will start at 4pm with music from the Lions Youth Brass Band. We have on-stage performances from both Middlewich Road and Hermitage Primary Schools choirs, plus musical talent from Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. Add to that several performances from the Laura Wilson School of Dance and Dane Sound Radio providing festive tunes in between.
