Join bricklayer Myles Mason on a tour of Chester in the year of our lord, 1603. Learn about Tudor and Stuart Chester through its stunning architecture as your guide (resplendent in replicas) uses character roleplay to regale everyday stories of dissolution, plague and even civil war.
Tickets £10. Bookable in advance or on the day from the Visitor Information Centre on Northgate Street. Ticket purchases include admission to Sir Peter Warburton's Elizabethan home of Stanley Palace.
Tours are owned and run by the Historiographers Heritage, working in partnership with the Friends of Stanley Palace Trust. Part of every ticket.goes towards the conservation of the Stanley Palace, a Grade II listed seventeenth century townhouse on Watergate Street.
