About

Poynton Heritage Fair

We're celebrating heritage crafts with local craftspeople to bring you a fair in celebration of Heritage Open Days!

Come along to Poynton Civic Hall with curiosity!

After the success of last year's event, we are once again hosting talented makers, sellers and craftspeople from the local area to inspire and inform about heritage crafts! The event will be bigger this year, with even more passionate makers.

Ever fancied learning a stitch or two? Maybe you'd like to see some calligraphy in action and learn how it's done, or have a go at puppeteering. At the Heritage Fair, the talented stallholders will chat to you about all things heritage craft. Some might have the opportunity to have a go, others to watch or to purchase. Why not have a nice cup of tea or a slice of cake while you're enjoying the fair?

Stalls include:

Andy Russell sign writer and boat painter
Society of Bookbinders
North West Calligraphers Association
The Marionette Theatre Company
Men in Sheds woodcraft
Poynton Miniatures Group
Mistletoe Pottery
Silktown Soap
StaceyArt watercolour
Say My Name Macrame
The Loose Leaf Flower School
Kaye Cardell-Oliver pet portraits
Antoni Zientek Pottery
Hook and Yarn Crochet
Poynton Local History Society
Nelly's Needles and Knits

Entry is free - we just hope you walk away with a fantastic crafty item or having learnt something new!
