Over United Reformed Church, Winsford
Drop in and visit Over United Reformed Church, Winsford on Sunday 21 September from 12.00-4.00pm. The John Douglas Heritage Centre will also be open.
The Grade II listed church, opened in 1868, designed by renowned Cheshire architect John Douglas. A fine example of Victorian architecture built in red and white brickwork with a steeply pitched roof. Externally there is a War Memorial and graveyard.
The John Douglas Heritage Centre (one room) will also be open with an exhibition showing examples of John Douglas’s work from Chester and Mid-Cheshire, as well information about the history of the church.
