Fabulously Festive Afternoon Tea

Chester's most memorable afternoon tea gets a Festive glow up! Oddfellows is a Georgian townhouse on Lower Bridge Street in Chester city centre. It's Alice in Wonderland inspired restaurant, Alice's Parlour, is an unconventional space where the tea’s mad, the cakes are curious, and reality took a wrong turn.

Step through the looking glass and begin your journey with a signature Drink Me surprise — it could be festive Eggnog or a classic Snowball. Savour a wonderful selection of premium teas from their favourite local supplier before diving into a stand of delights the Mad Hatter himself would be proud of:

-Delicate finger sandwiches filled with your festive favourites

-Tasty pigs in blankets, because no Christmas meal is complete without them

-An Oddfellows original, Roasties with gravy mayo!

-Warm, fluffy scones with jam & cream, an afternoon tea classic

-A decadent selection of cakes — mince pies, yule log, gingerbread men, Victoria sponge, colourful macarons, fresh berries, and a melt-in-the-mouth Baileys chocolate pot to share

-And to finish, a homemade  ice cream surprise, served in a teacup with edible flowers and granita — a secret-recipe finale to your whimsical feast.

Every single element hand-crafted, on the premises. All of it elevated by the enchanting dining space, Alice's Parlour.

Vegetarian and Gluten Free alternatives on request - this must be stated at time of booking so ingredients can be prepared. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate Vegan or Lactose Free options at this time. Festive Afternoon Tea is available from Tuesday to Saturday, 12 pm - 5 pm. Pre booking is required.
