Christmas Wreath Making at Chester Zoo

Enjoy a relaxed afternoon of festive crafting, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the zoo.

Begin your day with access to the zoo from 10am, giving you time to wander and take in the sights before we gather in The Square at 1pm.

Enjoy a glass of Prosecco and a few festive favourites – warm mince pies, pigs in blankets with honey mustard, and gooey Brie with cranberry - before getting creative.

Guided by Emily from Linden Lea, whose work is “all about creating completely lovely flowers inspired by the beauty around us,” you’ll craft your own Christmas wreath using materials foraged from across the zoo grounds by our Zoo Rangers. Each sprig, leaf and berry tells a story from the wild spaces we care for.

Take your finished wreath home as a little piece of Chester Zoo - a hand-made celebration of nature, creativity and festive spirit.
