Ben Kane, once a practicing veterinary surgeon, discovered his passion for ancient military history during his travels across the globe. He has since become a full-time writer, renowned for his vivid and meticulously researched novels set in Ancient Rome. His best-known works include The Forgotten Legion trilogy, the Hannibal series, and Spartacus. With over a million copies sold and translations in more than a dozen languages, Ben’s books are celebrated for their immersive storytelling and dramatic battle scenes.

This is a rare opportunity to meet the author in person, hear about his journey from vet to novelist, and gain insights into the fascinating world of Roman history and historical fiction.
