Knutsford Music Festival 2025
Knutsford Music Festival is almost here! After months of planning and excitement the doors will soon be open for our first gig on Thursday 5th of June followed by four days of fabulous music and community events with something to appeal to everyone!
Our ‘Official Line Up’ flyers have been distributed around the town so be sure to pick up yours when you are out and about. Copies are also available in the foyer of the Council Offices, so head on down and collect yours to plan your weekend. Alternatively, you can head to our @discoverknutsford socials and www.discoverknutsford.com for further details and the links to buy tickets – they are selling fast and the nights are gearing up to be unforgettable!
Returning this year are our ever-popular Folk music events curated by Mark Radcliffe, Saturday Night Blues, and the free community event ‘Music on The Moor’. And, if that isn’t enough, the local venues of Knutsford have pulled together an epic line up for our fringe festival. It’s a weekend to remember, putting Knutsford on the music map!
New to the festival this year are the sensational AMC Gospel Choir who will be filling the beautiful St John’s Church on Friday 6th June, with their soulful sounds of R&B. Formed in 1993, AMC are still exciting audiences today with rich and vibrant gospel music.
Adding soulful flavour to every musical event including:
The historical Hacienda Classical
“Festive Happening” with UK’s finest Manchester Camerata Orchestra
BBC Songs of Praise series
Sunday Service residency with award winning Alberts Schloss
Music on The Moor, from 12-4pm on Saturday 7th June is a chance to bring along a picnic blanket and enjoy some local talent in one of Knutsford’s beautiful green spaces. Knutsford Beer Festival will be setting up a bar and there will be a BBQ. Love to Craft Mcr will be running workshops throughout the afternoon, bring the family and make musical memories.
Opening the afternoons entertainment from 12.15 is Mr Wulf, Nigel Paramor, a Chester-based musician who generally writes, plays, and produces his own materials and a few covers.
From 1pm the beautiful sounds of Ambiere returns. Anyone who came along to last year’s Music on The Moor event will remember Ambiere being a huge hit!
At 1.45pm Same Steele Band will take to the stage. Sam Steel makes joyful, idiosyncratic guitar pop, jam packed with joyful melodies.
Rounding off the day’s brilliant entertainment is a live DJ set from Kurt Williams and Tim H. The DJs will be known by some for their popular nights at Wine and Wallop and as well as a full DJ set to end the day on a high, they will be with us for the full afternoon, playing upbeat sunshine music to keep the day moving along with a party atmosphere!
Saturday Night Blues is headlined by the Vincent Flatts Band who will be supported by local talent Simister and Small Duo, join us for a night of strong, soulful UK talent.
The Mayor of Knutsford, Cllr Bryan Hartley said of the festival “As Mayor of Knutsford, I’m thrilled to see the return of the Knutsford Music Festival for 2025. It’s the highlight of our beautiful town’s cultural calendar and an amazing celebration of local and national talent. The energy, creativity, and community spirit it brings to Knutsford is something really special.
I’ve personally loved experiencing the variety of performances, from intimate acoustic sets to lively open-air concerts.
This year, I’m particularly looking forward to seeing our local venues buzzing with music and people of all ages coming together to enjoy it.
The festival not only entertains — it strengthens our community and supports our local economy. It’s a fantastic showcase of what Knutsford does best: culture, collaboration, and creativity. I love the music festival and look forward to meeting you all in our venues.”
Don’t forget to follow us on the socials to check out some of our artists and keep up to date with the festival as it happens!
