Cheshire's restaurants and pubs are unveiling their Christmas menus, and there's something for everyone. There’s a huge selection of festive menus with everything on offer from traditional yuletide dishes to unique and innovative twists. We’ve put together a selection of some of our favourites. As always, to avoid disappointment we recommend booking ahead.
The Fishpool Inn, Delamere
Experience an unforgettable Christmas meal at The Fishpool Inn. Their festive menu features dishes like braised blade of beef, slow-cooked belly of pork, oven-baked cod supreme, and a roasted winter vegetable and chickpea hotpot. Classics like roast breast of turkey and Christmas pudding are also on offer, alongside vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Three courses are £36, and two courses are £29. Find out more >
The Vicarage, Holmes Chapel
The Vicarage, sits on the banks of the River Dane, overlooking the stunning Cheshire countryside, blending old with new, featuring architecture dating back to the 1700s as well as the modern industrial bar, surround sound sports bar and multiple event spaces. This Christmas you can enjoy Turkey and all the trimmings, children are served 1/2 portions. The menu includes white velvet soup, goats cheese carmelised fig and walnut salad or soft shell crab and prawn bloody mary cocktail to start. Turkey of course but if you fancy something different, fillet of beef, parmesan crusted salmon fillet or vegetable wellington for main. The Bear's Paw, Warmingham
From 29th November to 30 December, The Bear’s Paw serves up three courses for £36 or two for £29. Choose from starters like curried celeriac soup or beetroot and avocado tian, mains such as slow-cooked lamb shoulder or vegetable and butternut squash, sage and pine nut wellington, and desserts like Christmas pudding or Amaretto and white chocolate panna cotta. Olive Tree Brasserie, Stockton Heath
If you’re in the mood for a Mediterranean twist, Olive Tree Brasserie offers festive lunches and dinners from 26th November to 22nd December. Try the 3 course menus including dishes such as Greek onion soup, turkey kebab, mince pie baklava and much more! There is also a special festive menu for kids with two courses for £14.95 and three for £16.95. Highlights include Greek onion soup, Kalamari or chicken liver parfait to start. The Pheasant Inn, Tattenhall

Take the stress out of the big day and enjoy Christmas lunch at Mottram Hall’s Carrington Grill. Choose from dishes like local turkey with trimmings, supreme of cod, or sweet potato and wild mushroom wellington followed by decadent desserts like mulled cider poached pear with walnut pancakes or basked alaska. A brand new addition to De Vere Cranage Estate is the outdoor Tipi. Available to book for private festive celebrations, including a cosy Christmas meal with colleagues or loved ones, a drinks reception before your Christmas Party or a festive afternoon tea. Don't worry the tipi is fully covered and waterproof with cosy heating and comfortable seating, making it the perfect spot to relax and feel festive. In terms of the menu, choose from pea, spinach and ricotta arancini, ham hock and pickled carrot terrine or white onion, celery and apple soup, for mains its a choice of corn fed chicken supreme, fillet of sea trout or sirloin of English beef with chocolate and orange torte, banoffee trifle or Christmas pudding to follow.
