Horse Riding in Cheshire

Cheshire has an abundance of bridleways, parks and open spaces where you can ride at your own pace and enjoy the serenity of the great outdoors.

The Delamere Loop is a 35 km (22 mile) route running from partway along the Whitegate Way round in a circle, taking in Delamere Forest, Primrosehill Wood, and Little Budworth Country Park and the Bishop Bennet Way runs from below Beeston Castle, west towards the Welsh border, passing by Tattenhall and Aldford before turning south and east past Farndon towards Malpas and Whitchurch.

Safe, traffic free rides can also be found along the Middlewood Way, a 10 mile route through picturesque Cheshire countryside and the Whitegate Way is an ideal traffic free link from Winsford to Cuddington

You can also explore Cheshire's magnificent parklands on horseback. Make an early start on the ancient bridleways that cross Tatton Park and you'll be rewarded with the sign of wild fallow deer nibbling the grass. Visit Lyme, a magnificent estate on the edge of the Peak District National Park, which features a medieval deer park, wild moorland and woodland estate.
