1) An Enchanted Winter Walk at Quarry Bank
This Thursday and until 21st December you can head out on an Enchanted Winter Walk at Quarry Bank. With festive lighting and illuminated walkways, keep an eye out for Mrs. Claus preparing the sleigh for Christmas Eve, and don't forget to pick up your reindeer food ready for the big day. 2) Chester Lantern Parade
Chester is well known for it's fantastic Christmas Parades and this Thursday it's the Lantern Parade. Where hundreds of school children will parade through the city centre with their handmade, twinkling lanterns. A festive feast for the eyes! Find out more ->
3) Pick up gifts and treats at one of Cheshire's Christmas Markets
This week seems to be a bumper week for Christmas Fayres and Markets. On Friday it's the Christmas Gift Fair at Tatton Park, a unique shopping experience inside The Mansion's Tenants Hall where you'll find lots of local stalls selling items including Jewellery, candles, crafts and Gin.
Just over the border at the weekend, Hawarden Estate are holding their Winter Market featuring dozens of stalls, live music, delicious food, great drinks and more!
Don't forget Chester Christmas Market is also open until 22nd December.
Also at the weekend many of our towns and villages are hosting their annual light switch on events that also incorporate Christmas Markets - Knutsford, Frodsham, Holmes Chapel and Malpas to name a few. 4) A whizz around Northwich Ice Rink
Get ready to lace up your skates because Northwich Ice Rink is back this weekend! This year’s rink is expected to be a hit, so be sure to book your tickets early to secure your spot. The rink has a new location—indoors at Barons Quay, situated between H&M and The Entertainer. Thanks to its perfect indoor setup, you can enjoy your skating session no matter the weather. 5) Christmas at Warrington Town Hall
Santa will be in busy in his kitchen in Warrington Town Hall this Saturday 30th November, ready to listen to special Christmas lists! There will be lots of activities in the West Courtyard, including: Penny Arcade, Christmas Crafts, Make your Own Table Decorations, Ceramic Wreath Making and more. Mulled wine, mince pies, bratwurst and burgers will be available from the market place or you can visit the pop-up Tea Room in the Council Chamber for festive refreshments. Find out more ->
