1) Yuletide: A Glittering Winter Garden Adventure at Tatton Park
Following the success of its first year in Tatton Park's formal gardens, Yuletide returns this week for another spectacular glittering lights trail (until 23rd December). This unique experience allows guests to roast marshmallows, listen to enchanting stories of festive folklore, and enjoy live music and fire juggling. 2) 12 Days of Christmas Parade
The annual festive favourite, the 12 Days of Christmas Parade, heads through the streets of Chester from 7pm on Thursday 21st November. This popular parade includes community groups and local artists, plus there will be a surprise visit from Father Christmas. Find out more ->
3) Warrington Weekend Wonderland
This weekend, Warrington Town Centre will transform into a magical winter wonderland filled with festive entertainment, markets and activities for all ages.
Explore the Christmas Markets along Bridge Street, Horsemarket Street and Dolmans Lane, where over 60 stalls will offer seasonal gifts, crafts and treats. In Hatters Row, the young (and young at heart!) can experience Santa’s Grotto – The Elf Experience, a delightful journey into Santa’s world.
The weekend’s main highlight is the Drumming Spectacular and Festive Fire-lit Concert. Don’t miss the electric energy of the Katumba Drummers as they kick off the festivities on Saturday in Time Square, followed by the Silk Street Jazz band with their New Orleans charm.
Later, head over to Queens Gardens for an enchanting fire-lit concert with performances from local choirs, opera singers from Flat Pack Music and a special flaming torch procession celebrating Warrington’s local heroes. Find out more ->
4) An Evening with Martin Clunes at Chester Town Hall
This Wednesday Booka Bookshop and Linghams Booksellers will present an evening with much loved actor and TV presenter Martin Clunes as he talks 'in conversation' about his new book Meetings with Remarkable Animals.
