Join us on Saturday, November 23rd, and Sunday, November 24th, 2024, as Warrington Town Centre transforms into a magical winter wonderland filled with festive entertainment, markets and activities for all ages.
Explore the Christmas Markets along Bridge Street, Horsemarket Street and Dolmans Lane, where over 60 stalls will offer seasonal gifts, crafts and treats. In Hatters Row, the young (and young at heart!) can experience Santa’s Grotto – The Elf Experience, a delightful journey into Santa’s world. Pre-booking is essential, so secure your spot to make the day even more magical.
The weekend’s main highlight is the Drumming Spectacular and Festive Fire-lit Concert. Don’t miss the electric energy of the Katumba Drummers as they kick off the festivities on Saturday in Time Square, followed by the Silk Street Jazz band with their New Orleans charm.
Later, head over to Queens Gardens for an enchanting fire-lit concert with performances from local choirs, opera singers from Flat Pack Music and a special flaming torch procession celebrating Warrington’s local heroes.
Experience live performances from local talent, including:
. L.A Voices
. Warrington Community Choir
. Wired for Sound
. Rock Choir
. Olivia Booth (solo artist)
*Please note: Performance line-up is subject to change.
Throughout the weekend, keep an eye out for festive street entertainment across town, featuring walkabout acts like The Grinch, Mirror Reindeers, and a dazzling Snow Queen on stilts. Pop by Time Square for traditional fairground rides, free face painting and live music from bands like Batida Rio, The Stray Horns and Twisted Tubes.
And for those wanting to add a musical twist to their Wonderland experience, Bar Hütte offers cozy, pre-bookable karaoke huts in Golden Square’s Old Market Place – perfect for a festive singalong with friends and family.
Plan your weekend with the full schedule and follow us on social media for updates.
Embrace the festive spirit, support local and make lasting memories at Warrington’s Weekend Wonderland.
